DescriptionFrom Scott Rodolitz's 2024 appraisal: Of classical style for the type, the entire neck rest of deep chocolate brown and beautifully polished from extensive use, the pillow-top nearly flat but slightly arching at the ends above three carved struts, the outer surface of each with incised linear designs. The central strut with a notched bottom of triangular shape. Exceptionally fine patina denoting age and use.
