Georges Braque

Family moved to Le Havre, 1890. Pupil at Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Le Havre, 1899. Moved to Paris, 1900. Studied with Bonnat at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts, 1902. Then studied at Academie Humbert. Exhibited with the Fauves. Influenced by Cezanne in 1908. Cubism with Picasso, ca. 1908-14.
